Czech Poker Masters at King's: A Showcase of Skill and Luck

King’s Resort in Rozvadov recently hosted the thrilling finale of the Czech Poker Masters, marking a significant event in the poker calendar. The Main Event drew an impressive crowd, with 3,644 entries vying for a slice of the substantial €450,034 prize pool.

A Dramatic Finale

The final day was a nail-biter, starting with 27 hopefuls and culminating in a fierce heads-up battle between Milan Kalijanko and Vojtěch Ondráček. Both players showcased incredible resilience, but it was Milan’s day, securing the title with a dramatic river card that turned the tides in his favor.

Czech Dominance

The event was particularly notable for its strong local representation. Czech players dominated the final table, with Kalijanko and Ondráček battling it out for the top spot. The final moments were tense, with Kalijanko turning a crucial hand against four players, clinching the victory with a king-jack against an ace-king. This pivotal moment not only awarded him the championship title but also a hefty €63,200 and a ticket to the 2024 WSOPE Main Event.
